Shimla well known as one of the most fascinating hill station of India derived its name from Shyamala which is a materialization of the Goddess Kali prominent as the Idol of anger and power. Though the name says something different Shimla is one of the best hill stations which you can not afford to miss while you are on India tour. The natural beauty of this place is very appealing which can just be believed when you see. Located at a high altitude of 2159 meters above the sea level towards the south of north India in the state of Himachal Pradesh Shimla has winters which child winds with very low temperature. The summers here too are not that hot because the minimum temperature rise that will be noticed is 25 degree C.

 Considered as one of the most ancient places of India, the city of love, Agra, is also included in the highest visited place. This city was established long back in the late 14th century. It is also being included in the great epic The Mahabharata. You will find beautiful historical monuments here which also reflect of the vitality of this city in the ancient India.
Agra had a great connection with the Mughal Emperor and thus you can find many of the historical structure built by the great kings of this dynasty. When you have a look at those monuments you will feel the richness and knowledge of art that people had during that era. With great carvings these monuments lure a lot of people to come and have a look at it.

Situated in the northern part of India, Mussoorie is a small hill station which is also named as the Queen of Hills. This is a very beautiful place which is located at the altitude of about 2000 meters in the Hills of Garhwal. Mussoorie is just about 30 kilometers away from a small town named Dehradun. This hill station is highly visited by the tourist of India and also by newly married couple. Every year countless people visit Mussoorie to rejoice the splendid experience of the beautiful scenario of this place. This is the best lpace to visit if at all you are sick and tired of your regular fast going life because of the beautiful and soothing atmosphere it has. This place is very near to India holiest pilgrimage sites like Badrinath, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, Haridwar, Gangotri and Rishikesh. Mussoorie has got his name due to the existence of the beautiful plant named ‘Mussoorie’ in abundance.

Rajaathan


The Udaipur city is very famous for the royal palaces that were build in the rajput era. In 1959, Maharana Udai Singh II made Udaipur as the capital of Mewar. As the Mughal became weak, the Sisodia ranas were successful in recapturing a large part of Mewar but not Chittor. Udaipur was still the capital and in the year 1818, Udaipur became one of the princely state of British India.


Also prominent as the historic city, Jaipur was found in 1727 AD by the very great Sawai Jai Singh II. He was a Kacchawah ruler and also a great builder, astronomer and a poet too. This city is known to be laid down of the principles of the "Shilpa Shastra" and when you take a look at the shape it is a perfect rectangle. This one big block is divided into nine small blocks each to be named as "chokris".





To the South west part of Jaipur, Ajmer is said to be one of the oasis wrapped into lush green hills. This city was discovered in 7th Century A.D by Raja Ajay Pal Chauhan. It also continued to be the mostimportant centre of the Chauhan power until 1193 A.D. After the death of Prithviraj Chauhan Ajmer became a home to many dynasties.



Mount Abu is the one and only one hill station of the Rajasthan state. It is situated at an altitude of approximately 12,220 meters above the sea level. Mount Abu was once upon a time considered as a part of the chauhan kingdom but while the Britisher's rule it then served as the British headquarters.




A beautiful town in Rajasthan, Kota comprises of a colorful history. This place is situated at eastern bank of river Chambal and this is the place that priory belonged to state of  Bundi at the time of Chauhans rule. It is very rich for traditional havelis, palaces, mansions as well as castles. This was declared as a separate state in the seventeenth century by Emperor Jahangir.
